Privacy & data stewardship
Collect less. Explain it clearly. Keep the boundary.
Information entrusted to a Christian organization should be handled with restraint, clarity, and care.
Current website availability
Studies, family resources and printables are available without an account. Member access, contact submissions, notification sign-ups, online giving and purchases are not open. Disabled forms do not send or save information. Existing records remain subject to the retention and security practices below.
What we collect
If you submit the adult interest form, we collect your first name, email address, selected area of interest, consent choices, and any optional location or message you provide. Ordinary hosting systems may also process limited technical information needed to secure and deliver the site. If you create an adult member account, we also store your display name, account consents, study progress, private study notes, session bookmarks, community activity, reports, and service interests, resources you save, and the resources you open while signed in so your recent activity can be restored. If you request a giving or future-shop launch notice, we collect the name, email address, adult confirmation, and preference you submit.
How we use it
We use form information to record your Christendom1 interest, respond when appropriate, plan founding programs, and—only if you separately choose it—send occasional Christendom1 updates. Member information is used to provide saved progress, private study notes, session bookmarks, a personal resource shelf, recent-use history, community participation, moderation, and service planning. We do not sell personal information or display member email addresses to other members.
Children
Christendom1’s family resources are parent-led. This site does not create child accounts or knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The interest form is for adults age 18 and older.
Separation from future advocacy
Information submitted here belongs to Christendom1’s 501(c)(3) work. It does not enroll you in any future 501(c)(4) advocacy organization and will not be transferred to one without a distinct, informed choice from you.
Giving and future purchases
This site does not currently collect donations, orders, or payment-card details. Before giving or merchandise checkout opens, we will identify the legal recipient or seller, explain the purpose of the transaction, and update this notice for the payment and fulfillment providers involved. A merchandise purchase will not be represented as a charitable contribution.
Retention, security & choices
We retain information only as long as it is useful for the stated Christendom1 purpose or required for responsible records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security. The monitored Foundation contact is being prepared. Before public intake opens, this notice will identify how to ask a privacy question or request a change to an existing submission.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the site and organization mature. The date above will change when a material revision is published.
